We love wood and working with this unique material has accompanied us for 4 generations. Wood has been used in construction for millennia for its beauty and unique irreplaceable properties. Our current experience is based on the traditional values of parquet craftsmanship and masterful skill. Mr. Jiří Pechar started working with wood, wooden floors, their production, renovation, restoration of both solid floors, parquet, castle inlays in 1946. Since then, the traditions and experience of parquet crafts in the family have been passed down from generation to generation and during the previous regime. to his two sons Jiří and Miloš. Shortly after the revolution in 1990, Mr. Jiří Pechar continued the family tradition by founding a private company, which over time continued to develop as a family business to its current form.

At present, company Pechar s.r.o. ranks in Czech Republic among the leading importers of wood products with a long-standing reputation as a reliable wholesale supplier of quality wood products. We are a regular supplier for hundreds of wholesale customers in the construction and wood sector from both the Czech Republic and abroad. Our specialization is the direct import of wood from production plants from all over the world and its subsequent wholesale distribution.

Thanks to direct and long-term cooperation with directly with selected production plants in Canada, the USA, South America, Indonesia and many other countries, we are able to offer some of the best prices on the market and at the same time oversee compliance with high quality standards. For all imported products, we pay attention to the legal origin of wood throughout the supply chain and all products meet European requirements for the legal origin of wood. Our range is divided into five main commodities. Wooden and composite terraces, wooden facade cladding, interior floors, sauna material and wood coatings. We sell wooden terraces under the Masterdeck brand. In the composite terrace segment, we are the exclusive distributor of the American manufacturer Fiberon. In the assortment of facade wood cladding, we specialize in western red cedar, thermally modified Thermowood wood and Siberian larch. Another commodity is a wide range of wooden floors in both solid and three-layer design. In the three-layer flooring segment, we are one of the largest distributors in the Czech Republic, one of the world's largest manufacturers, Barlinek. We also represent the German company Saicos on the Czech market, which produces high-quality wood coatings for both interior and exterior use.

We have been the only company in the Czech Republic since 2008 to be a member of the Canadian Red Cedar Lumber Association based in Vancouver and we are the official importer of Western Red Cedar to the Czech Republic. More information about WRCLA you can find here.

In addition to business activities, we provide custom industrial production of facade profiles from western red cedar and thermally modified Thermowood wood. For these purposes, we import quality certified cedar lumber from British Columbia and original thermally modified Thermowood wood. Industrial production is carried out on state-of-the-art Weinig high-capacity planing machines that meet high quality criteria. We use production both for our standard stock range and for custom production.
